As the Director of Learning and Development, Kathy is responsible for ensuring that Cardiac RMS’s team members are properly trained and prepared to deliver world class service.  Kathy works with every department of the company to develop ongoing education strategies and tools for the evolution of Cardiac RMS’s products and services. 

Kathy has over 30 years of experience in training and development, continuous process improvement, IT management, and healthcare management. Kathy founded and operated several successful bariatric medicine clinics in Minnesota for 14 years, treating over 25,000 patients with comprehensive, multi-disciplinary treatment programs. Kathy also has experience in population health and EHR implementations in hospitals and clinics. Kathy holds a MS degree in Organizational Communication and a BA degree in Speech Communication, with a minor in Computer Science. 

Besides her career, Kathy is a professional artist, working primarily with acrylics and mixed media. She and her husband live in Minnesota and enjoy spending time with their two adult children and dogs.
